Car Insurance: The first step in renewing your car registration card is to get a comprehensive or third-party car insurance. This can be done online by contacting us or your preferred insurance company.

RTA Vehicle Test: Every car older than 3 years must be tested at RTA's testing centres. Unfortunately, the conventional way of doing this is by taking the vehicle to the testing centre by yourself. The process takes approximately 2 hours, and an inexperienced individual may face certain hurdles that would require them to clear their file and come back another day. Our Car Renewal service solves this problem. We collect your vehicle via our experienced drivers or by a recovery truck to get the test done while you focus on the things in life that matter.

New Registration Card: Once the insurance and the RTA Vehicle Test is done, we will drop off your vehicle to you. You can then simply login to the RTA App where you can request for your brand new vehicle registration card / mulkiya. We also send you an email on how to do this once your test is complete.

How To Renew Vehicle Registration Online?
Step 1 - Settle Your Fines: You'll have to settle your fines first. Settling your fines depends on the Emirate, as well as the type of fine. Dubai fines can be paid from the RTA or Dubai Police app. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Northern Emirates fines can be paid from the MOI App. If you do not have black points or impounds with your fines, skip Step 2.

Step 2 - Receive Black Points (if any): Visit the respected police station of the Emirate which issued the fine to resolve any black points or impound your vehicle.

Step 3 - Visit Vehicle Inspection Centre: For vehicles over 3 years old, head to an assigned RTA testing facility such as Shamil, Wasel, or Tasjeel. Refer to the table above for the nearest testing facility.

Step 4 - Get Test Results: Upon testing, secure approval for renewal. The result will be shared on your mobile phone. If your vehicle doesn't pass, undertake necessary repairs before applying for renewal again. This will be chargeable.

Step 5 - Get Vehicle Insurance: Get a Comprehensive or Third Party car insurance. Comprehensive car insurance is more expensive because it covers vehicle damages whether the accident is your fault or not while Third Party only covers the damage you cause others.

Step 6 - Get Your New Registration Card: Download the RTA app (Dubai) or visit their happiness centre. Once the renewal fee is paid at a physical location, you'll receive a new vehicle license card and updated expiry stickers. Keep your registration hassle-free!
